I'm willing to pay a max of $700 for the puppy. We got our German Shepherd at Forest Ridge Kennel about 6 years ago and haven't had any real issues with TJ. When I looked at the Yorkie puppies they are mixed and cost $650. I've read that they are a puppy mill broker so now I'm at a loss since apparently everyone is evil.

Please help
It is very sad, but yes, Lancaster is rated highest as being the biggest puppy mill in Pa. Also Pa. is rated 1st or 2nd out of all the states to be highest in having puppy mills. A pure breed yorkie from a reputable breeder is going to cost more then $700.00, that is a 1997 price, in 1997 I paid $750.00 for a yorkie, today you are looking at least $1200.00 for a healthy, non mixed, pure breed yorkie. There are many members that will point you in the right direction for reputable yorkie breeders. Beware of BYB, that will sell for what you are looking to spend, they will swear they are pure yorkies, but ya never know. Some will show you mom and dad, yet who's to that the male yorkie they show you IS THE SIRE. Don't be fooled, you may suffer heart break down the road, and have a very sick baby. Listen to the advise you will soon be given, My puppy days are over, so I cannot advise. Have you thought about adopting, or rescuing.Good luck in your quest in finding that perfect lil baby.
