. Dogs do recover very quickly, that's for sure. Whenever mine have any kind of surgery, I absolutely would not leave w/out pain meds and a pain plan bc these babies have pain just like we do. So next time, I'd insist on it...any good vet will send you home w/ pain meds.
Don't worry about infection from the park - just watch him closely like you already are and keep his activity down like you already are. You're doing GREAT
