I feel stronger and my thighs look slimmer to me. Still have a long way to go.
And fiance got on the scale yesterday just for fun....GRRRRR what the heck? He eats sooo bad, claims he can't exercise due to asthma and he only weighs 155 lbs....wtf??? Its all in his gut though...haha he has bird legs and twig arms with a beer belly. |
OMG that sounds like me! LOL! And yea cooking at home really saves money. Just make sure not to buy too much and finish everything you buy. Learn how to reuse leftovers into new dishes so it doesn't get boring. Or make stuff you can freeze.
I save all my shrimp shells in the freezer and use it to make shrimp stock. You can do the same with chicken bones. If you buy raw chicken with the bones in them, it's cheaper. Cut out the bones yourself and save them to make stock or soup.
We are also trying to cut down on our drinking. Only on weekends or if we have an event. Not only will that help me cut calories, but save money too! We figured the amount of money we spend on rum is probably what most people spend on cable tv each month.
Christine, hope you feel better soon.
