Did the loose stools start after you started a different food than what he was eating at his breeders? If yes, then I'd go back to the previous food...wait a while...and switch to a different kibble later.
To make dry food more appealing, sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on it..it's nice and pungent and can often help dogs since they eat first w/ their noses.
You also may want the vet to do a fecal.
