It just takes time. When a new furbaby enters the home, they are not sure if your here as a guest, or a forever loving best friend. Most of the time it's a really fast adjustment, but sometimes it can take a few weeks. But they do learn how to share, and they find out it's kind of cool to have a playmate to play with when Mom is busy.
