Ain't that the truth! I think bc of my age, most people that work in furniture stores will steer us towards more contemporary items. Not my thing at all! Bf and I used to be into mid century modern before Ikea went and ruined it all. LOL There's a lot of that mid century stuff available here in Vegas, but not what we are looking for anymore. But we have been really lucky with the antiques!
In addition to the Victorian stuff we also like Asian antiques, esp from Thailand, Cambodia, and other Southeast Asian countries. I'm Chinese so not really into that, reminds me of when I was a kid going to fancy Chinese banquets for family reunions and that look doesn't really do it for me.

Oooh I just checked your Pins. I like a lot of the stuff you have there. Bf really likes Old World stuff too.
