Well, Mickey has been here a week and the other dogs have accepted him with no problems. We lost a dog about 8 mos. ago, so they were used to 7. Even my little alpha dog, 4lb. Sydney has only growled a couple of times at him, luckily Mickey is good natured and not wanting to fight. He's still cries for his mommy, obviously was much loved and cared for, but getting used to us here. I am so glad we don't have to keep him separate like our other dog, who doesn't put up with being growled at, but he and Mickey get along just fine.
Mickey is a good example, though, of how you can't tell how big a dog will be judging by the parents, as I have both of them here. Sydney (4lbs.daddy) Sassy 8lbs. mom, also have his littermate, Mia, who weighs about 5lbs. Mickey is 13 lbs. not fat, just solid, but definitely all yorkie
He's home and will stay here forever unless his mom can work out housing that allows dogs.
