I had no idea about the Lepto in bird and rabbit poo. I have house bunnies and very rarely will Jenna find a stray bb lying on the floor and grab it before I can reach it. I usually find it under her tongue but I give her a strong "no!" and she knows I mean it. But both my dogs like to find grouse poo (I guess because it's mostly berries and must smell sweet) and I have a time getting it out of Ebon's mouth. (She is obnoxious about anything she can swipe off the ground, not just poop, probably because we think she's part border collie and is hard to get through to.)

I think if your bunnies are strictly indoors, there is not a concern about Lepto.
