 Finny and Sapphire went to the vet...
Pre spay and dental consult for both and general health checks. Sapphire has two lumps on her tummy near two of her teats, and she had a very slight bit of discharge after her heat last week. She's acting fine but I got nervous so best to have it done. She got vaccinated so she could have surgery (spay and lump removal) in 3-4 weeks, and a dental. She'll have pre op blood work and chest X-rays done when she goes back in.
Finny has had what I believe to be bloat, and another different episode where she passed out after being startled once. I was thinking heart problems, but the vet said she couldn't detect any problems. She does recommend an EKG prior to anesthesia first, and if that checks out, maybe a neuro consult to rule out a possible cause for seizure/seizure-like activity. She also will consult with two other vets in the clinic and make recommendations when we return in a month.
Finny also got her Rabies vaccine today and both tested negative for Heartworm. |
