No food is going to be 'better' for teeth. I've seen dogs fed raw w/ horrible teeth and dogs fed kibble w/ great teeth and vice versa. Counting on kibble to clean your dogs teeth would be about as helpful as us hoping hard pretzels clean ours. Brushing is best for teeth, and of course there are other products and chews that can help.

Raw food is not something I'd ever be comfortable with personally. I have seen a lot of scary things on the internet that people spout as 'normal' while raw feeding that... just aren't. So I advise caution. IF you really want to feed raw, I'd probably recommend a pre-made that doesn't involve hard bones or raw meaty bones that have a pretty high potential to break teeth.
