Thanks for the replies...they are both girls and they are doing much better...no blood has ever been drawn
and they only are around eachother when I'm able to supervise, never left alone...the funny thing is, they both eat and drink out of the same bowl...no fights over food or water...and they'll lick each other and love on each other and then other times they start to play and Chloe' get's kind of rough...Kylee...the maltese, doesn't back down either...and she'll go after Chloe' to initiate more play!!???...I'm hoping that the newness will wear off and they'll play a little more gently...till then the only play they'll be doing is under close supervision!! I REALLY want my girls to get a long!!
