My puppy is 12 weeks old and on a schedule. Even though I work I follow the schedule to a t. Today I didn't and regretted it. Like Maximo said you have to wear him out. We run Cerulean for about 30 minutes prior to his "calm down" time. I let him calm down in his crate for 30 minutes and when I get him out he's half sleep and done for the night. I let him sleep on me while I watch tv and put him in his bedtime crate (in my room) around 10:30. The last few nights he has slept through the night which I find amazing considering his age. Using a crate throughout the day also helps him settle when restless or over excited. I'm not a puppy expert but this is what works for me. |
