When I decided to get a yorkie it was because of the beautiful silky hair that I saw on other yorkies. I'm so disappointed at Gunners cotton coat. He will never have the beautiful silky coat I dreamed of having. Instead I will have to keep him short to keep him from matting. We are at our camper and he has to have his harness on and it tangles his hair terribly. I comb and brush him constantly, to no avail... I'm so bummed. I love Gunner dearly, but I wish I'd known about this stupid cotton coat!
Does anyone know if the hair on the tail comes off too?

If it was me I would leave the tail feathers.
