You need to get her used to the x-pen. be firm and if you have to leave the room do it, if you can't stand her barking or whining. Your x-pen will be your next best friend in the coming months. Because when you can't keep an eye on her, you will want her confined in this small area. Once she begins to learn that the x-pen is her "den", she will not go potty in there. But you must make sure that she does eliminate before putting her in there for any lenght of time. |
This is a great method and works really well. After a while she will stop the barking and such once you let her know she is not going to get her way...
