If you fold the ear back you can usually pull them out with your fingers. I thought about using tweezers once, but most tweezers have a sharp point that could harm your pup. I think they do sell tweezers that have a blunt tip if you can find them. Lexi used to hate when I did anything with her ears, but she has gotten used to it now. She still doesn't like it, and if I take too long she starts to get annoyed, but it gets easier the more they get used to it.
