Our Maggie has grade 3 luxating patella in both back legs, and she is overweight. I started trying to walk her to try to help her lose some weight, but when I would take her for a walk she would act like that afterwards. I decided to stop walking her because I was afraid I was doing more harm than good.
I would have the dog checked. It may be luxating patella, and it might be something else. It would be worth finding out what it is though. That way you can deal with it.
