That's exactly what we did..I was surprised that he peed on the belly band and soaked it down within minutes after it being put on. I would have thought he would have just waited to pee until we took it off.. We did pick up all the plants and have still not put them back down.
So far for the last week or two no belly bands and no accidents. He has only heisted once or twice since being neutered so in my opinion he is doing very well. At least well enough that we are very pleased...Now anxiously waiting to have those stitches removed...
