Do you mean the furniture itself or the pads? Our 'metal' furniture is holding up, but the pads we have to store when not in use. They would be toast if they were in the sun daily. We have to replace our umbrellas every 2 years, even though they are made with the special material, sunbrella? |

It's sort of both...the pads don't hold up bc the sun just bakes them and the fabric breaks down and tears; we never took them down for storage bc we have our furn out all year round here....so it's super tough on the furniture; we gave up on our padded furniture. Then we went to this tight-weave type stuff (no pads), and some of it is holding up well so far, but the ones out in the full sun all day aren't. It may just be a given that we need to replace stuff often out here, but it's so $$$$!
