Hi there.Our Gracie is just at 7 months old. We got her at 8 weeks. She loves kids and has from the beginning. When she sees them and/or hears them laughing/talking etc she barks and gets very excited because she wants to join in.

Not sure if this helps or not but maybe your new baby just loves kids and perhaps hasn't been around them in awhile.
