My breeder chose for me. There were only two pups in the litter, one is being kept for show and I got the other. Honestly, I didn't mind. I knew I wanted a quality yorkie from a reputable breeder. Health and quality were important to me, not necessarily gender. It just so happens that personality wise, the choice seems perfect for us.
