 Older female pregnant
Hello my Yorkie Katie is pregnant and was not supposed to happen she is 9 as of May 11 and as far as I can tell she got caught on March 28. She is now at a temp of 99.9 but my concern is she is panting all the time. She don't seem to ever cool off and rest. She is still eating and seems to be always drinking water. She is also going out like on a normal day. I am worried because I lost my job and wasn't able to get her spayed to prevent this and also any other problems. I would appreciate any advice or suggestions. I just moved back to Houston so I don't have an account with a vet. Please help I really don't want to lose her. I took her to the vet a few months ago to get her shots and heart worm meds and also had her tested blood work and all because she was just acting funny and was told she is healthy except for her knee bothering her. Her hormones were out of wack some is why she was just being different. I know this happened because her seasons have been few and far between and she came into season and I didn't know it fast enough and our little two year old boy yorkie did what nature told him. My wife and I caught them and thought it was in time but were wrong. Thanks. |
