A Little Help Please? A couple weeks ago my yorkie, Paisley, was either dropped by a 5 year old OR fell off the sofa. We couldn't get the truth out of the girls I was babysitting at the time. She started flopping around like a fish out of water. She couldn't really walk. She was limping and I made my husband take her to the Vet Hospital immediately. After checking her out, the assured me nothing was broken but thought the flopping around was a seizure, perhaps because she wasn't acting normal and had some swollen (something?) around the brain. She stayed at the vet all day until closing where she came home. We have moved now and two weeks since this episode she is not holding her neck up normal. It's tilted to one side pretty far. She stumbles a lot as well. So, I took her to the vet here in Texas to get some questions answered and make sure she was okay. The vet said there was nothing I could do and that this was a result of the seizure. They checked her ears so no ear infection. The vet said she isn't in pain and she doesn't even know she is holding her neck awkward.
Has anyone had a yorkie that help their neck crooked for a bit? I really want to know if she will overcome it and it go back to normal??? |
