 Euthanizing a fur baby
When Lizzy had her stroke at 2 in the morning on 5/3 she was paralyzed from the neck down. She seemed to be aware of her surroundings and even drank water I offered her while laying in our lap. She steadily deteriorated until I took her to the vet at 8:30. He said "it was time." I know it was in my heart but she cried when they gave her the shot and I can't stop crying when I think about it because I can still hear her. She had a stint but does that hurt them??? |
