Well I'm no help on the knee problem but I had Gypsy Rose spayed in July and I was frantic on the day but although she was ill that evening and next day , in the afternoon of the next day she recovered and started demanding a walk etc and was just fine. When I saw her not well (only due to anaesthetic) I felt guilty but now I feel so glad i had it done and the scar can hardly be seen. It helps prevent cancers etc in later life and you really would be doing the right thing. If anything else needs doing this is the time to ask the vet to do it (like baby teeth retained etc) and possibly the knee problem?
I bought babygros (all in ones ) for Gypsy Rose and altered them in advance so she couldn't get at her stitiches - hope some of this helps?! I have to go through all this again with baby Gizzie Chavi but not just yet LOL. Ana xx |
