 Dragging his bum
Bentley is 16 weeks old . Lately we've noticed that he's been dragging his bum along the floor, usually preceding him pooping. We brought him in for his rabies vaccine on Thursday and I mentioned it to the vet. She checked him out to see if he had any impacted glands, and thankfully he didn't. She said that this is an uncommon activity for puppies his age, but to keep an eye on it. She didn't notice anything in his examination, so as far as we know he's a happy, healthy puppy.
I saw him doing this again this morning when he went outside, so obviously I'm concerned. Any idea why he might be doing this? I know we've had some issues with him pooping in the past, where he's eaten strands of my wife's hair (it's very long and I find strands all over the house) and he have to remove the poop from his bum, but we haven't had to do that recently (past week to week and a half). That's the only thing that I can think of |
