Many of you may remember me posting about our Boxer, Booger who crossed over the Rainbow Bridge in June of 2011. I wanted a special memorial for her and I wanted it to be part of a place I could go and quietly reflect. So I decided upon a Memorial Garden, one that I could start small and add too as I had the time and energy.
So dear beloved Boo's Memorial Stone is the beginning of that Special Garden. It is the small size, which is 7" wide by 5" tall, and is made out of natural stone. It is heavy and will be a permanent memorial to Booger. It was beautifully crafted by EyeCandyGlass, my newest favorite Etsy vendor. I plan to start by planting a tree - I'm thinking a nice Japanese Maple, one of my favorite trees and some colorful perennials.
