My pup has been good about not wetting during the night. He started sleeping with me when I brought him home (at 8 weeks) and slept very well for 6 or 7 hours from the first night on.

However - he often wakes up before I do - and the times he has wet, I think it is after he woke up.

So -- I put a belly band on him at night (just a washcloth - pinned with a diaper pin) - just in case. This way - even though he's good almost all the time - if he isn't, it's not a problem.

PS: Being able to use bellybands - is the male reason I got a little boy. I would like to say my guy is potty trained during the day - but he's not. He uses his pee pads - but definitely not all the time.
