That's what she likely meant.
I vaccinate all my dogs for rabies every 3 years. They were 12 when they had their last rabies and will get it again at 15 if they live that long. I stopped doing DHPP on them as they got older. My young dogs have it every 3 years, but I will likely stop at age 7 for them.
