I'm so sorry. If you ask the moderator to move this thread to the Special Thoughts Needed Forum, more members might see it and you might get more responses from those of us who have been through this awful time and know what you are going through. Hang in there and try to get through the day hour-by-hour for now. There is not much help for grief except finding a way to get through it. I'm glad you are already thinking ahead and trying to see past your current pain to the future as your current pain must be profound right now. After 15 years of loving and living every day with Lizzy, realizing you need to take your time to deal with her loss and heal before finding yourself another baby who needs a loving home and that that will ultimately honor her life with you in the best way you can - by loving and giving a wonderful, loving home to another sweet little dog. You will always have little Lizzy in your memories and heart.
