The pup is 12 weeks old that's why I don't understand especially if he was born at less than 3 ounces. I don't know his exact weight but I'd say he's about 2/3 of the mom's size. He's not fat, he's grown.
My husband believes that he would stay small because of the mom's size but I'm not convinced. The mom is gorgeous. Really beautiful. That's why we're bummed that the pup is so big.
In defense of the family/breeder, they might not be a specialist breeder but we could see that they really cared for the puppy unlike the others that we've seen so far.
