Right after a bath, when the boys are still wet, I use mainly my fingers and sometimes a very wide tooth metal comb (Madan from Jenny's toplinepet.com). I don't do any serious combing or brushing until they are closer to dry.
I use line combing when I comb Katie's very thick, silky hair. I use the shiny grooming comb from Jenny, and the mustache comb from Jenny, too. It's a must have. I have four of them. The Madan brushes are very nice. I also have a 6" grooming comb from Jenny.

Kristin, Maximo, sells Isle of Dogs #63 detangler that is very nice. I also use Chris Christensen and #1 All systems wooden pin brushes. Kristin sold the #1 All System brush, but I didn't see it on her website.
