Buster would not eat out of any bowl at first only small plates. It took him a long time to get used to the low stainless steel dish for his food. I had him using a ceramic bowl for his water but I noticed the design on the bowl was wearing off so I was worried it might be leaching into his water. I tried to switch him to stainless steel water bowls. Nope he would not use them at all. I am thinking about glass/pyrex water bowls.
