Kristin would have to verify if it would work for you, but my Katie wears a 3.5, but the 4 also fits her. It's wider around the legs, and there is a small difference in length, but I find the four really great for sweaters and coats. Katie has a very broad chest. I was conflicted about size, and I ended up with a 3.5 candle apple harness, but the 4 works too for Katie.
