I'm not convinced it is ringworm. How does it look now? My Doodlebug had a little bump on his back thigh. At first it was not very noticable and I thought it might be a pimple but it grew larger and looked a lot like your picture. Raised and slightly red. When I took him to the vet he said that it needed to come off because it looked suspicious. The fact that your vet suggested removal

At this point, we're not sure what it is. We know it isn't bacterial from what the vet said and the tests he did on her. They could do a biopsy, but that would be $800, or completely remove it for $900. We've already spent about $400 on trying to figure out what it is, and we still don't know!

and that it hasn't responded to treatment is concerning to me. We had it removed and with pathology and a dental I think it was about $400. Let me see if I can find a picture. If I can I'll post it.
