What are some of the techniques you use to teach tricks?

I love the roll trick, lol. I just use little pieces of her fav fruit like mango or sometimes boiled carrots (idk, she loves them.. lol) and I just try to show her what I want her to do. For example, for "dance".. I just put my hand slightly higher up with the piece of fruit in my hand so that she gets up on 2 legs and then she kind of dances around Left and right paw I taught her by first teaching her "paw" and then taught left/right by offering my own left or right hand to her left or right paw. It's easy to teach that after your baby learns "paw".. then high five is pretty simple too because when your baby gives you "paw" you lift your hands a little higher and it looks like a high five. It's kinda tough to explain in text, hope what I said makes sense.
