I am in desperate need of a new vacuum. I have all hardwood floors, but I want one that is good for both hardwood floors and rugs. I don't want a real huge heavy one, and the attachment for doing the stairs would be a plus. It has to be pretty powerful too. I prefer the bag-less types.

Do you have a vacuum that you really like? If so, please share. Also, if you have one that you hate, that would be good to know too! My price range is around $200 or less, but for the right one, I could go a little higher if I had to. I appreciate all your input. Thanks!
