Yeah here in portland oregon unpapered yorkie's and often mixes go for six and eight hundred dollars. The humane society and the kill shelters charge about 250$ but they are almost all pitbulls most of the time. There are a lot of rescues and rescue groups in our area as well- but some of them are just people who seem to be pretending- maybe good hearted but largely dysfunctional, those rehoming fees vary drastically.
