Bottom line on prices is that the breeders can ask anything they want for them and usually get it. I know my husband can sell a dog for six thousand dollars as easy as he can sell a two hundred dollar pup. Just depends on what people want and what they are willing to pay. Heck, I felt very forutnate to have found Ceeby for 850. and my little girl for 800. Silk, with her champion bloodlines (If I can ever find them LOl) was a steal at five hundred even if she was "retired".
