She is adorable, and the short cut really shows off her big beautiful eyes. It probably was a good thing to get rid of some of the puppy fluff hair and certainly the mats. Even though it is shocking, it is more comfortable to shave than to pull.
Now you have a choice, to brush and maintain, or to keep her in a puppy cut or to shave. I went through all 3 styles with Tiki, full coat, puppy cut, and now shave the body but leave face and legs full. I absolutely love that look, but still have to brush the legs and face a little or it can tangle too. BTW, you could learn to do the grooming yourself and that way you can get the look you want (sort of); it's not that hard.
As the others have said, it's a great time to let her wear a t-shirt or dress. |
