You are def not too late on taping. They say 6 months is the poit where if they don't go up they won't go up...I'd tape fr 3 days then let them down and when or if they flip tape them again.... And make sure u shave the tip off them. My babies are still standing today. I've noticed her left one flops down towards night but goes back up when she plays or by the next morning it's back up.... Guess it's just tired Lol
