I said in my OP that he IS up for an upgrade, but his line will go up from $25/mo to $40 bc that is the "in contract" price. We are out of contract so it's $25/mo. Over the course of 2 years that is $360.
Go phones are really crappy. Got one for MIl before and it lasted a month. Plus he lost the phone with the SIM in it.
I am thinking Ebay or Amazon, but a lot of sellers have open box phones with only a 60 day warranty. If I buy a used one from someone, at least I know it's used. They are selling them as new on ebay, just without the box.
