Is there someone who can check on her during the day? At 9 weeks, she really is too young to be left alone for 10 hour stretches. Besides being frightening for her (imagine going from being surrounded by your mom and litter mates to isolation), there is also a real risk of hypoglycemia in these younger, smaller puppies. If you are lucky, she will eat when she's alone. But some of the younger dogs just won't eat and need to be encouraged to take something every couple of hours to prevent hypoglycemia, seizures and death.
