Lola was spayed 5 weeks ago, she still seems sore in some situations and I noticed a bump on the incision.
The surgery went really well, she was mostly back to normal by the next morning and completely back to normal later that day, and she never acted like she was in pain. I had a very hard time trying to keep her calm.
The incision healed really well, the vet tech commented on how nice it looked when she removed the stitches.
Earlier today I noticed there's a little grey bump on her incision and around it it feels like there's a knot of scar tissue, here's a thread about it on another forum

A few people on there say their dog has it and the vet said it was scar tissue.
Anyway, my main concern is her feeling sore.
She still won't lay flat on her belly, she lays half on her side half on her belly. I'm not sure if it's because she still sore or if it's habit at this point.
When I carry her I always carried her with her butt between my elbow and body and my hand on her chest. She won't let me carry her like that anymore, she wiggles until I move so she can put one leg on top of my arm.
