If you know they are definitely Yorkies, why are you going through the trouble of a DNA test? Because... you clearly *don't* know if they're 100% Yorkie, right? Which, is really no big deal. I totally understand the "just wanting to know" factor. If there was anything reliable out there, I'd do it, simply because I'm curious to know for sure if Jackson is a Silky or a Yorkie.
The fact of the matter is though you could get a DNA test and it
could come back that they're Border Collies. Or it very well may say they're purebred Yorkies. Who knows. That's the problem with the current DNA tests. I would say 'Wisdom' panels have dominated the market and is the 'best'.
I did have friends who did them. None came back with plausible results.
