Anyway, blood products are not usually stocked bc they expire and are very $$$. The dog was probably this vet's cash cow.
He will be punished, but animal cruelty charges are rarely harsh. I'll be pleasantly surprised if he serves more than 90 days (and he isn't really a threat to people, so betting he is released until trial with restriction not to practice). Just guessing though. |

They certainly aren't the owners of the century by any stretch. No doubt their casual attitude toward their dog's medical condition(s) is what might have given that vet the idea he could get away with doing anything he wanted with their dog and they would believe his every word and never question a thing and pay up on the dot! I hope AC and the police all give them a good going over to be sure they weren't guilty of some neglect of any owner's basic custodial duties.
