Wow that's just crazy. She sounds so detached from the puppies and you. Seems odd to me too. I'd do the DNA test if I were you if not for anything else, for peace of mind of knowing what breed of dog you have. Usually people like that will get angry and defensive right away because they have something to hide. I'm so glad these pups are with you instead of her because she acts like she doesn't care much about them. You're a great person to take not one but two and then come here to get all the answers you need so you can be a good Yorkie (or Morkie) momma. You seem like you have your heart in the right place when it comes to your puppies. To me that's enough to deem you a good pet parent.
Edit: you should just need to do the DNA testing on one to find out since they're siblings and look identical to one another. I'm sure they're the same breed. Whatever breed that may be, lol.
