MVD usually doesn't cause acute liver failure and many dogs live long lives with it. Not that breeders should breed dogs to have it and your breeder should be aware of MVD/shunts if she is breeding at all. So whether this dog has MVD or not, your breeder and her lack of familiarity with MVD/shunts in this breed tells me all I need to know about her. But, it would be very unusual for MVD to cause this as the vet earlier told Linda.

The Dr. does think that she got something Toxic that kicked this into gear. We don't have a clue and still looking for things of what she may have gotten into.
