Hooray I do not need surgery. The did an MRI and no tearing. I am in a brace and with a cane but no crutches!!!! I will have a recheck in 3 weeks and then a little physical therapy. The hardest part is I am not supposed to drive until the knee gets a little stronger. Thank goodness for Buster and Jack, they have taken good care of me. It's really really black and blue now but all in all I am relieved with the outcome. Thanks for all you kinds thoughts.
Now on to your parents. Were they tested for genetic defaults prior to breeding? I mean... well I'm not exactly sure what I mean.
We all know that luxating patellas can be genetic
LOL Sadly I am a product of bad knee genetics. My Mom, Dad, and both brothers all have knee problems.
