California that they trust? I have read so many nightmare reviews and stories about breeders & pet stores nationwide... I want to make sure I enter into this as educated and prepared as possible! I agree with everyone else, 3 pounds is too small to safely train for therapy work, and reputable breeders wouldn't breed for a dog that small. Our Bella is 7 pounds already, and she still seems like a small cute dog, and we can still pick her up and hold her with one hand/arm. So the take home lesson is, look for a breeder who breeds for breed standard Yorkshire Terriers, and run in the opposite direction if they are advertising "tinies" or "teacups."
