I have 2 old labradors and a Golden so I was shocked when I found out that their respective breeds are labeled as ticking bombs of cancer in most of the dog forums.
I agree with Britster's post. One of the reasons you may think these health issues are common is because minorities are generally pretty vocal. That being said, it's better to always keep a close eye on your pup for some of the most serious issues, like Liver Shunt and HGE. |
